Network Stiftung Exilmuseum Berlin

The Exilmuseum tells the life stories of people who went into exile between 1933 and 1945. The focus of the planned exhibition is on the fates of individual people. The aim is to build a bridge to the present: What is the connection between exile then and now? And what can we learn from history for today.

The cooperation with the We Refugees Archive has existed since November 2020. In a joint workshop, refugees will work out their “Alphabet of Arrival” for the provisional container exhibition, which will be shown on the outer walls of the containers in 2021.

The opening of the museum at Anhalter Bahnhof in Berlin is planned for 2025.
